Let's Celebrate "Earth Day'"


The annual “Earth Day Celebration” and “Keep Bossier Beautiful” art contest winners are on display in Children’s Services at Bossier Parish Central Library, 2206 Beckett Street, Bossier City until May 1, 2008. Participants of the art show were
5th grade students who attend Apollo Elementary and Benton Middle School. The event was spearheaded by Donna Barrera Executive Director of Keep Bossier Beautiful and Derinda Soignier Board Director Member.

In honor of Earth Day on April 22, 2008 Children’s Services at Bossier Central Library has placed on display books that are related to conservation, recycling, endangered species, wetlands, and Earth Day. To learn more about Earth Day, visit your local branch of the Bossier Parish Library.
