The Green Team is Coming to the Library!

Bossier Library Children Services Department is delighted to bring the Shreveport Opera Xpress's premier season of The Green Team, starring Curbit the Frog, to the Bossier Central Library on Thursday, February 11, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. The performance will be held in the History Center. It is free to all ages.

The Shreveport Opera Xpress Program is an important part of the Shreveport Opera. They are committed to producing outstanding professional operas for children that educate as well as entertain. The objectives of Shreveport Opera Xpress are:


  • To introduce students to the fundamental components of opera

  • To introduce basic music terminology

  • To excite children about seeing live performances

  • To plant the seed for the audience of the future

  • To include a social impact message

  • To help all involved understand that opera is also fun!

A Musical Storytime...
